I don't have a 32bit kernel setup at the moment to let you know if it really differs. I and other have/are tried/trying to reach out to creative. I personally sent a email to their Public relations and Developers with not surprise haven't received a response. We also reached out on to the discussion forums one of the threads had to get closed because of the Windows Fanboys starting a flame war on the thread.
